Grateful Dead on 30 Rock |
I was watching an old 30 Rock episode tonight and Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) is having an issue with the postal service. She asks Jack Donaghee (Alec Baldwin) if he knows the Postmaster General:
Jack: "I do know him but we had a falling out over the Jerry Garcia stamp. If I wanted to lick an old hippie, I would return Joan Baez's calls..."
heh, heh, heh.
That is all,

Re: Grateful Dead on 30 Rock |
Love it!
That's the best TV show reference to the Dead since the "Weeds" episode when Nancy Botwin (Mary Louise Parker) reacts to a fire that breaks out on the hills of Agrestic by singing the chorus to "Fire on the Mountain". (Her friend looks at her in total confusion and she says "You know--Grateful Dead?", and he just shakes his head in total unawareness of what she's talking about.)
